Dr. Karen is a native of San Antonio, where she attended Providence Catholic High School and earned her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University. In 1984, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and moved with her husband Jim to Bryan, Texas, to launch her dental practice. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, she is actively involved in the community—volunteering locally, serving on the board of St. Joseph Manor, and mentoring aspiring dental professionals through the Texas A&M Pre-dental shadowing program. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Karen is dedicated to helping every patient understand their dental needs. She and Jim have been married since 1981 and share a son, Brent.
Dr. Jim is also a San Antonio native who graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and completed his undergraduate studies at Texas State University in San Marcos. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1983 and spent a year working as an associate in general practice before joining Dr. Karen in Bryan, Texas, in 1984 to establish their private practice. Committed to delivering quality dental care, Dr. Jim has been a key partner in their joint practice ever since. When not in the office, he enjoys playing golf and engaging with the local community. Together with Dr. Karen, he has built both a successful practice and a lasting family legacy.
Dr. Lorayne Perry graduated with honors from Texas City High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she was recognized with multiple academic and clinical honors, including awards for excellence in endodontics, implant dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial radiology. Dr. Perry is committed to continued education in esthetic, orthodontic, and comprehensive dentistry, as well as advancing dental technology. Fluent in Spanish and currently learning sign language, she is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Outside the office, Dr. Perry enjoys spending time with her three daughters, volunteering in the community, and being active in her church.
